I made do for too many years with a homemade apron and finally decided to do something nice for myself. I read the reviews for this and two other similar aprons and ordered this one. I definitely made the right pick. I love this apron. The pockets are handy for glasses, pens etc. The waist straps are quite long but also easy for a home fix. Good protection with light weight. The leather has a nice feel to it.

Recipient loved it

I ordered a waist apron and the order went through but I got an email the next day stating the waist aprons were out of stock. They did offer me a couple of choices of full length aprons at the same price so I took the 48” boar hide apron.

Advantages: The material is soft and pliable.

Disadvantages: I’m not sure how long the cotton straps will last.

The back strap is waaaaay too long for a fit person. Other than that pretty sturdy and fits its purpose. Leather is good quality for this type of applications. Straps are cheap.

So far I love this apron. I metal sculpture and this along with sleeves is so much more cooler than a jacket. This apron also being made of bore hide doesn't shed like the others making a mess of everytjing they touch.

Very nice material, and the ability to cross the straps over your shoulders or loop around your neck and waist is great. I've had this for about two months and it is still holding together (mind you I weld for 8 hours a day 5 days a week) I highly recommend this apron for its light weight and comfortability. Very happy with my purchase and if it ever goes to tatters I am coming right back and buying another.

I'm happily using this bib on nearly a daily basis and can easily recommend it to anyone in need of a shop apron. The construction, material and ease of adjusting straps makes it my favorite in the shop; I have 3 other cloth types by different manufacturers. This is well made and does the job. Leather seems to me to be mid weight so it's not to heavy. Fits me well, 5'9' & 195 lbs. When sitting at my work table it long enough to cover my knees. I really like it. Very light and easy to wear. Certainly long enough and wide enough for a larger built man (because I'm a 5'-10' tall woman, and I wear my hubby's medium in men's clothing) The two edges come well around my back and almost touch--so the web strap just sort of hangs in a U as formality, I guess, but it keeps the apron tied closed and centered on me. The only real issue I have with it (it may be having a girl's anatomy) is that the front chest piece may be designed for a flat, wide chest rather than a woman's, so it dips forward a bit at the top. Other than this, I'm quite pleased--very long, to the knees and maybe even a bit below, so it's generously cut. I'd recommend it, highly!

My boyfriend is a welder/fabricator, I got him this apron 3 years ago and he has loved it!! He is rough on all his stuff and I just finally had to get him another one. Only because the bottom of the front pocket broke open and all his pens/tools fall out... Easily fixable but I just got him a new one so there's no rush to fix it haha.

Nice stitching and well built. Leather is thick and the cut fits well for an average sized man or woman. Only draw back is the bib pocket which has no cover flap to prevent unwanted material from entering such as hot welding byproducts or sharps from grinding. It would also help if the pocket was deeper with a pen compartment and a little slack to hold a bit more.

It keeps wire from sticking in ya, and stains off too. I like the quick on and off snaps. That's much nicer than having to tie it. I didn't research this before I bought, but the amazon price is not the best out there. I think the manufacturer sells them cheaper.
