I usually don't wear Tig gloves because it makes it hard to "feel" while welding, but these are an amazing compromise to say the least , Very comfortable and flexable
Advantages: Incredible flex and feel while working, can grip and pickup small consumables, (tungsten, cups, collets, etc)
Disadvantages: none

Awesome glove, especially considering the price. Glad I found them here on sale, ordered a few pair. NOT a heavy use glove, but that isn't any fault of the product. Use the right tool for the job!

These are thinner than my Tillman 24c gloves and they produce a lot of dust when they're breaking in, but they're really comfortable and pretty durable. No stitching blowouts, but I have cut a couple of the finger tips. I have a bad habit of using my TIG gloves as work gloves and MIG gloves too, so that's expected. Heck, they cost about the same as a decent pair of work gloves, might as well! I've bought two pairs, and unless the quality goes down the tubes, I plan on buying more. Dexterity is great with these. Feeding TIG filler on long welds is very easy.Edit: It's been almost a year since this review was written. I'm on my second pair of these, but I also use another Caiman glove and a set of Optrel from a local distributor. The first pair lasted a good long while. And I abuse them. The second pair was much less dusty, a pleasant surprise! These fit tighter than average Tillman gloves, but they're still very flexible and comfortable. Kind of like a driving glove for welding! I'm still impressed.

I've been using these gloves for about a month now and they've held up quite well. They fit pretty well right out of the package and once they were broken in, they are very comfy! I mostly use them for TIG welding but have used them for plasma cutting, oxy/fuel cutting, mig, and stick welding with no problem. They aren't very thick so watch getting to close to any real heat, but they're great for low/medium amp TIG

Excellent glove. I prefer the deerskin suede for the tig welding I do, better traction on the filler. Pre curved fingers do make a big difference in comfort and dexterity.
Advantages: Better grip from the suede, better heat insulation than kidskin, machine washable, deer doesn't get krusty.
Disadvantages: I've got nothing bad to say.

VERY nice, high quality gloves built for the finesse of TIG welding. The hand portions are thin, supple, and reasonably snug without feeling overly tight. These gloves enhance the ability to position and work the rod which is the primary intention. They won't keep out much heat, but for that a 'Tig Finger' is the perfect addition. These gloves provide value beyond their price.

Been welding for a few year now I have a degree in it which is where I learned to weld and got to test tons of differnt types of gloves fore free while in school. I have been working and a welder fabricator in a high end hot rod shop for a few years now since school mostly mig and tig and I found these a few months ago and have 3 pair so far home, work, and in the truck I will not use anything else these are reinfored in the perfect spots and fell great even after 8 hours of tig welding on pannels at a wopping 40 amps if that. They do leave a lint type dust around at first like all quality tig gloves I have used but after a day or two of use that is gone and you have a reliable golve that of you tak care of will last longer than most and feel great the whole time

Im a tig welder and these are nice soft gloves like kidskins. Not too thick so you can still feel hardware but at a small price for heat shielding. If you weld smaller stuff or take breaks often, perfect. If your welding sch 40 or 80 stainless pipe, go for thicker gloves.

MY husband uses these and said that they are exactly what he needed. They don't last forever, but no nimble leather gloves from any animal does... thats why you would be getting these... is to keep your hands nimble while working with things such as welding, ect. Any reviews saying that they aren't durable are clearly missing the point.

the best light weight welding gloves I have ever used. I have thick ones when I need them, but I always use these when the project allows. When I MIG, I will use one of these on my right(gun) hand, and a thick one on the material.

These gloves are very supple and are easy to put on my nerve damaged hands.

The leather is not completely tanned on the outside. As this fuzz on the gloves gets everywhere. Been welding with them for a month and hopefully it'll wear off before the gloves wear out.

These are intended for welding only, and more specifically, TIG welding. These are great quality and allow you maximum dexterity which is necessary for TIG welding. I bought these instead of the local Harbor Freight TIG gloves, and am very glad I did. If you visually examine the ones at Harbor Freight, the lack of quality is evident in the stitching and lining.I would buy another set of these in a heartbeat.

Good fit. Love the hand rest pad on side. No telling how many times I've burnt my hand in that area. Not anymore. A little thicker than kids skin but still thin enough for a good sense of feel. If I were welding real thin stuff all the time, I would go to kid skin but I weld thick stuff a lot too so these are perfect!

These gloves are excellent - very comfortable and soft with good tactile feel - it's almost like no gloves at all. They look to be well made and should last as well as any light weight gloves. They sure beat the heck out of regular arc welding gloves if you're doing TIG welding. The extra large size fits me well, so they possibly run a little small - I'm 5' 10' and medium build, about 165 lbs. My hands are maybe a little large for my size, but not much.
