Great pair of tig gloves
Advantages: Lightweight fits perfect

I replaced a pair of Caiman 1600 with another of the same.......
Advantages: advantage was getting the quality and durability I enjoyed
I like the soft yet tough fingers so when pruning I know roses
are not going to stick me
I like the flexibility of the kidskin for small finger pinching of plants
Disadvantages: This replacement pair had a different sized Rt glove vs Left glove........

As soon as I received them, I inspected the gloves and found small holes where the stitching wasn't completely fused.The gloves have a cheap feel to them. They feel thinner than the leather Tilghman gloves.Pros:- I really like the high cuff, as it protects my forearms from getting burned when welding.- I have more dexterity to feel the steel rods when using GTAW.- Price is good.

OK Tig gloves - they are inexpensive and well-sewn, but they just dont last for full time production use. Maybe if you were only handling small pieces or didnt TIG all day they would be fine - mine got chewed up pretty quick

Very comfortable but still have to put electrical tape on em after one day. Still haven't found a glove that's lasted more than four days. I weld on fuel tanks and the threads for caps are sharp af!! Still love these gloves tho!!!!!!

After a full semester of daily use, a 3-4 hours each day, they've held up fine. No seam breaking. Did have to saddle soap them to get to soften back up and stretch back out but that was my fault for continuously grabbing hot metal with them and drying/shrinking the leather.

Bought them for our son in high school for his welding class, all other kids in class had to ask him where he found these pair. He loves them as they are not too bulky so he can actually work on his project.

These are not professional grade, but I am a hobbyist TIG welder and therefore use them light duty. I used them today and had no problem feeding filler and the tactile was great. I would recommend adding a TIG finger (Jody, if you don't know, they are here on Amazon, look them up - highly recommended!) to take care of the lack of heat protection. Using the TIG Finger with these gloves worked great for me and I will be buying a spare set as well as the price is right!

I LOVE these!!! I've had other brands of TIG gloves that didn't hold up worth a darn (Tillman). These seem to be very well made and look like they'll last better than those other ones. Only time will tell, (I just got them today) but they look like they will hold up way better. I can't wait until I need to TIG something!

Yeah, there is a little white fluff on the inside the first few times you wear these- but overall, a cheap TIG glove with good dexterity.Cuff is stiff, but that's fine- it serves the purpose. Glove is purposely thin for good feel when TIG welding, not recommended for Stick, MIG, Oxy, etc. - hence reviewed accordingly.

I just ordered two more pairs. These are great, I used them in school and they have held up really well. They feel amazing right out of the package, super sensitive, I was even able to play a few hours of playstation 4 while wearing these gloves to break them in over the weekend before school. For 12 bucks I don't think you can beat these. I have used them for all my TIG classes and worked very well .

I am brand new to welding, so this is the first pair of gloves I have bought. I have not used them yet, so I can not comment on their usable life, I can only comment on the initial quality. I paid $12 for these, and for that price, the quality far exceeded my expectations. This is nice leather, with the white hand leather very soft and comfortable, and the brown cuff quite firm and protective. They seem very well made. I'm happy with them (again, prior to using them).

I had to get welding gloves for a sculpture course I'm enrolled in. We do primarily oxyacetylene welds. This gloves are great! A lot of dexterity so sculpting is easier, and the length is perfect. They are a bit thin so don't touch fresh welds (obviously). As well as they smell pretty goat-y, which I can't knock it for that since it is goatskin. I am clumsy and have accidentally torched my gloves a bit, but they're holding up great!

Great gloves for the money. Fit is great, tho they have the typical 'longer than human' thumb thing going on, but not as bad as some gloves I've owned over the years.Only issue I had is there is a ton of fiber material inside that was all over my hands every time I removed them, and its like sticky or something so itll stay on your clothes if you try to brush them off using say... your pants. It's starting to sluff off now but it's taken a lot of use to get there. I've probably had them on and off 50 times now.Still, for the price they're awesome!

I love these gloves but don't get them too hot or the leather will shrink significantly. This is probably true of any top grain leather, but it surprised me considering they're sold for welding. Regardless, I bought a second pair because they offer better thermal protection than split leather IMO.

I can't say enough good about these for the money. Sure, they're not as tough as the Tillman 24c that I used to use, but they're also almost $10 cheaper! Also, the feel and dexterity with these is much better. I do tend to grab these for work gloves, too, and they've taken the abuse. I've got a couple of holes in the leather from abuse, but no stitching failures. They're great for TIG work. Feeding the filler rod is easy with a light glove. I just won't TIG barehanded like some do.

I was using my MIG gloves in my oxy acetylene class at school it was getting hard to control my tools. So I saw these and thought it was a fair price. They work very good. Not as protective against heat but that is made up for in dexterity of the glove. They work well ! Just don't grab hot metal or you will know !

I am new to tig welding. I am a farmer and bought a tig welder for fixing aluminum sprinkler pipe on my farm (ahp alpha tig 200 it's a fantastic machine as far as I can tell. See the youtube videos). These gloves are great. Make it so much easier to feed in the tig wire one handed. The stitching is tight and they fit nice and tight on my large hands. Very soft. No complaints at all but will update if they wear out quickly.

Really nice for the money. Offshore gloves, even with US names slapped on often are too short for my fingers. The fit and initial quality here are lovely. Comfort is exceptional as one would expect for unlined Goatskin. Fit me better than the MegaTig I bought the same order but not really fair comparison as those are thinly insulated. We will see how they hold up and how useful they are being unligned as I'm an old welder but new to TIG and not sure yet what I really need.

Nice gloves, very thin and comfortable, just little or no protection. The little glowing ball of hot steel that is on the end of the wire on a MIG gun passes through and into your skin very easily and quickly.

Very good dexterity, good fit. They are cheaply made...the staple on the tag ripped right through the cuff, and some of the stitching isn't finished very well, but for the price they are quite good. They will last a long time for my occasional use.

These are great. I prefer snug fitting fingers for when I mig weld. Regular welding gloves are too bulky. And you cant beat the price. Will be ordering more.
