I'm not returning them but the people who said order 2 sizes smaller than normal were right. They are huge!!!! I have long fingers and usually order large so I ordered med. Still way too big but I'll be able to wear them. Can use for driving bec of the leather front. Very good quality.

My wife thought she had lost one of her favorite mittens. I ordered these according yo the tag in the old one. She found the lost one the day the new ones arrived and the new ones are now her favorite. It is quite obvious that the old ones had shrunk over time and the new ones, with the deer skin palm 'Fit Like A Glove'. She says they are very comfortable and she loves them.

I love these mittens! I took them on a ski trip in Taos and they worked great. I wear them all the time now, they are super impressiveI got the XS and at first thought I should have gotten the S because they are tight to get on, I really have to pull. But now that I have had them a while, I am glad I got the XS, the elastic around the wrist is tight enough that no cold air gets in, but not so tight that it hurts or leaves a mark. Perfect.

Although they are surprisingly lightweight, these mittens keep my very cold hands toasty warm while walking the dog in bitter weather. They repel water and are soft to the touch. The deerskin palms give a good grip to allow me to wear them while driving. I am very happy with these mittens and believe they are actually worth twice the price.

These are pretty nice gloves overall, but just a bit 'stiff'...they just don't 'bend' in the fingers the way I would like...Our weather hasn't been really cold enough to evaluate their overall warmth though (but I'm not complaining) ;) I'm hoping with enough wear time they will break in and be comfortable!

Love the mittens. What would make them even better is to add a nylon /cotton cuff so they stay inside my coat better.

Sturdy mittens! This winter (2015) wearing glove lliner simply because it is outragously cold !!! They are fine on there own when temps in the 20-30 range. Great grip for driving. Soft & comfortable. Warm mittens for the most part. I live in the Midwest (Iowa) so winters can be unpredictable. Gloves are warm except if it is really windy. The top of the glove does allow a little wind to be felt but the palms with the deer skin do not. My hands get very cold, very fast so I didn't give a 5 star. Base your sizing off of men's. I wear a women's medium and ordered a medium and they are big. That is fine with me because I can pull my hands into a fist inside if need added warmth. For women I would order a size down from what you normally wear.

These are terrific mittens. I've worn them everyday this week while walking at 6am. I was so tired of coming home with frozen fingers. We did have only one day of below 20 degrees, but the mittens did a wonderful job of keeping my fingers toasty warm. My thumbs were a little cold so now I pull them into the finger area. I ordered a size small and they fit well. There is ample room in the main section to put another pair of gloves on if needed. Though I can't imagine needing gloves with these mittens. I just ordered a pair for my mother.

The mittens are fantastic. They are very warm, and easy to drive in with the deerskin palms.

These mittens are fantastic. I have a pair of polyester fleece gloves with 40 gram Thinsulate insulation, and they never kept my fingers warm while shoveling snow or otherwise being outdoors in temperatures below 25 degrees. My hands do not get cold with these mittens. I'm getting a pair for my wife.

Advantages: Warm, comfortable on the skin, deerskin palm gives a better grip than other gloves or mittens.

Disadvantages: The small plastic ring to which the plastic clip on the other mitten attaches, to keep the mittens together when not being worn, was unattached to the mitten (it was hooked to the clip) when the mittens arrived.

My hands get painfully cold. So last year with north east winter I made the switch to mittens. While I can't do a damn thing in them, I wouldn't be without them. Hands feel so much better than gloves. Not miracle but worth it. Plus palms have suede like material so no slipping on steering wheel. Read more about that mittens are better for your circulation. I love these mittens. I bought these in large thinking that they were sized for Women and they were too big for me. My husband took one look at them and off he went to use them. I reordered in size small because medium was out of stock. They are just right but I tend to like my things a little bit bigger so they are easier to slide on and off so next year I'll try the medium. I can't ask for a better product. I actually wound up returning these mittens, not because of quality, but because the size medium I ordered was so large, that I felt there was no point exchanging them for size small, which no doubt would also not fit me. I need a well-made insulated mitten with a fairly snug fit that would accommodate hand warming packets while I shovel snow in bitter cold weather. My finger tips cannot take more than five minutes of those temperatures, and I found the answer is the hand warming packets placed in a mitten--not a glove, so that the packets could extend down to the fingertips. Of course, my thumbs, which are enclosed by the mitten material suffers, but at least the rest of the fingers keep warm that way! Anyway, any adult with larger hands than mine would probably like these mittens.

looked looked and looked for mittens and finally got these. they are so warm and soft i can not get them away from my wife. finally my fingers do not turn white anymore. thank you so much

These mittens are well made and very warm. they also are not too thick and bulky. The leather on the palm side is nice and soft and allows you to do things without taking them off. I think I will get a second pair!

I bought these for my father-in-law who has arthritis issues with his fingers and needed mittens as opposed to gloves. They are very nice and soft and warm. My only complaint would be that the deer skin palm does not really seem like leather. It seems very thin/light weight and though it says on the tag that it is leather it seems more like cloth. The mitten itself is very thick, the tags say it is a double layer or glove within a glove. They are very flexible and roomy and since he wanted these for shoveling show I think they will work well. They are little more pricey than I would have liked, but it was really hard to find any mittens in the stores in my area, so I was glad to get them.

Bought these after suffering severe nerve damage in one hand. Had to protect hands because cold was excruciating but it was too hard to put gloves on. These were easy to put on, looked great and kept hands warm. Love them. Recommend for anyone who has difficulty putting fingers into gloves.
